Seneca Lake Big Splash Sustainability Fair
On Labor Day weekend, Saturday, Septmenber 5 and Sunday, Septmeber 6 at the Hector Fairgrounds the Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival of Music & Dance will present the 5th Annual Seneca Lake Big Splash Sustainability Fair! This year’s event will encompass the entire weekend. Once again Big Splash will be filled with green exhibitors and likeminded people. By bringing in non-profit sustainability groups and forward thinking local businesses we can focus on solution based alternatives to hydrofracking and LPG storage.
Musical guests include Donna the Buffalo, Big Mean Sound Machine, Danielle Ponder and the Tomorrow People, Bobby Henrie and Aaron Lipp, Laila Belle, and More!
Local flavors seep through this year’s event with local cuisine, beer and wine. Two stages (including our famous 10,000sq foot dance tent) and overnight camping in beautiful Hector will make sure this event is not to be missed.
Join us as we create a platform for outreach bridging the space between music, activism, economic health, local industries, natural resources and sustainable solutions. Music with a message inspires activism and empowers us to protect our vineyards, hops and the tourism economy so dependent on our pristine environment.
